If you say “heart,” I guess that’s true too! But what about those scary words like toxins or pollution, things we’d never begin to think are wafting through the air in our safe and sound home.

As the winter months take hold of the outside world, statistically we spend more time inside. We’d all like to say it’s a clean and relaxing environment, but there may be a few things we don’t realize we’re doing that open the door to all sorts of potential pollutants.

But with every problem, there is a solution.

Purify Your Air

Whether it’s your fur babies or just the day to day, a lot of times, vacuums aren’t enough to suck all of the pollen, dust, pet dander, and other pesky pollutants. If that stuffs floating around, we’re breathing it in. Yuck. Cue the purifier. These babies pack a punch against all of that unwanted stuff mucking up our air, filtering out the bad and keeping the good flowing.

Let’s Talk Product

Cleaning product, that is. It’s scary to think about, but most basic cleaning products hold some sort of warning that’ll say “hazardous to humans or pets if ingested” I don’t know about you, but I’m not taking those risks.

Solution? All natural cleaning products! 100% safe and way better for your household environment. A little baking powder, vinegar, and some essential oils and you’re in business! There are tons of recipes online for any and all your cleanliness needs – here’s a favorite site of mine.

Other basic cleaning habits like changing out air filters and dusting regularly can go overlooked – I’m guilty of this myself. But all of these little things add up. Organs like the lungs, heart, and skin will all thank you for the cleaner air. So cuddle up, get toasty, and stay clean.
