I work with many clients who are excited to meet with me to help them achieve their nutrition and health goals through diet and supplements. For many of them, food is a way to suppress emotions rather than deal with them or a punishment and reward system that goes beyond nourishment.
When you have a negative self-image, especially when it comes to your body, it can be difficult to see it evolving in a positive way. External influences have a major influence on how we see our bodies, and the image we see in the mirror can be a distorted view of who we really are.
With a positive self-image, we recognize and own our unique body and its potential while being realistic about our abilities and limitations. But, with a negative body image, we focus too much on our faults and imperfections.
Having a positive body image of ourselves can boost our physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. A powerful way to improve this is using positive affirmations, which harnesses the Law of Attraction.
You and your body are a team, and it only wants what’s best for you. Give one of these 20 positive body affirmations a try to boost your body image. Find at least three that work for you and repeat them often. Stick them on your mirror as a reminder. You’ll feel better about your body and make better decisions as you continue your health journey as well.
